No-Thing Will Last

by johnlazy on December 17, 2008

We all know that material things can vanished in a blink of an eye that’s why holding to it too much is not really a good idea.

I read a quote post by Judge on one of the forum and he had an interesting idea about it. Here’s the post:

You can’t find yourself in anything that you desire and/or manifest. You can form content like money, love, success and all the trappings of a life, but ultimately as its all content and form it will one day disappear.

So should we give up desiring a better life and all the stuff we can obtain?

Of course not!

But what we can do is allow manifestation to happen and observe it rather than need it to complete us. Person wants stuff because they feel that stuff will give them something that doesn’t think they have. This way of thinking creates all sorts of problems, because you’ll always notice the lack more and try to over compensate with ideals like the Law of Attraction, positive thought and massive focus.

As we mostly know, these laws and rules often fail miserably or even if they work and you finally get the big house, fancy car and love of your life, then your ego (self concern) will return to its state of denying everything is already quiet satisfactory and start desiring more.

What’s as bad as not getting what you want?

Getting what you want.

They both come from the same self concern (your ego in reaction) to the outside world. When you don’t require finding the missing parts of you in things that will ultimate disappear, then you’re closer to your natural state of being. Nothing is really missing, so anything you may require will be added and it will be added as easily as possible.

Will action be required? Maybe!

Unless you stop reacting to the content of your life with all its needs and requirements, then you will remain trapped, regardless of wealth, health and apparent happiness.

The manifestation of all things is a wondrous observation, it happens completely naturally and with ease, so why is getting what you want so very challenging and stressful? Because you are trying to find a part (you consider missing) in the form and content of life. In truth there is nothing missing, you only think there is, because you are completely lost in content, lost in form.

Your ego loves the idea of feeling incomplete; it gives it something to constantly react to, so you continue to experience the (perceived) lack. You look around and see all the other ego’s (even the rich happy ones) reacting like crazy to content and form so you presume that’s how it works.

Then you start to learn and apply the LOA and IM with mostly mixed results, but even if you are truly an LOA master, then you will still seek to find yourself in content and form and then you’re supposedly perfect life will start to crack.

Ego isn’t always about shiny new stuff and you can trade all your possessions in the search for enlightenment, live in a monastery and chant all day alone AND still have a massive ego. The only difference is your ego now attached to spiritualism instead of materialism.

Your ego is exactly like all the physical manifestations you are requiring, its content and form. You don’t need to deny it, subdue it or even lock it in a cupboard; all you have to do is align it with your true purpose.

Then like all the other things you manifest constantly and easily, everything else will be added.

What can you say about it?

I think these are normal feeling to have, after all we are human. The secret is remembering that “Material Things” are not the most important, it’s the people/family in your life.
