I believe that smile is a universal language that everybody shared. A smile can light up a room that full of sorrow. A smile can bring joy to others by simply stretching the muscle of the face. This is an antidote to language barrier if you simply put it like that.
According to Wikipedia, a smile is a facial expression formed by flexing those muscles most notably near both ends of the mouth. The smile can also be found around the eyes. Many biologists think the smile originated as a sign of fear as stated by the Historical background. The smile evolved differently among species especially among humans.
So, how a smile can make a big difference:
• SMILE CAN BREAK THE ICE
Well not literally but through human to human communication. Remember when you are in a party, in any occasion, or when you first met a person, simple smile can break the ice of not feeling comfortable. Just smile and you will see a big difference they will smile at you back except for those people who feels insecure about themselves. After that, the communication between you and the person will flow effortless.
• SMILE CAN MEND A BROKEN HEART
Remember when you are heartbroken and you felt like the world is topple on you. A smile that cares from your friends and families would really make a big difference. Even if you can’t stop the tears from falling, you can still inject a smile because of the smile of your peers.
• SMILE CAN LIGHTEN UP ANY HARDSHIP
Hardship on life can’t be dismissed so the best thing to do is to have some immunity on it. Smile can help a lot to people who is suffering from poverty that’s why if you can observe people who have a little of something they smile often than those people who almost have everything. That’s a smile that brought a big difference.
• SMILE CAN GIVE PEACEFULNESS
Yap that’s right, do you watch soldiers or guerrillas on battle you can’t see them smiling, the time you will see them smiling is when they and their counterpart has manage to talk and iron out their differences. So indeed, smile can make a big difference.
• SMILE CAN SEND POSITIVE MESSAGE TO THE WORLD
Smile really can pass through any gap that you and I and the rest of the world have difficulty on communicating. Sincere smiles well bring the positive message that we are willing to lend a hand and willing to be friends with anybody. It is certainly brings a big impact to people.
Those are some of the simple smile can brought to the world and for each and every one of us can benefit.
So don’t hesitate smile often, even if you don’t have a perfect teeth or a nice gum’s the important thing is you have a nice heart that you can share to the world.
“A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you’re at home”
“Always remember to be happy because you never know who’s falling in love with your smile”
