Have you been hurt by someone you love? By a person that matters to you dearly. She/he maybe your friend, your partner, your parent, your sibling someone you don’t expect to hurt you that way, but they did. Have you already forgiven them? Or still can’t forget what they did to you because of emotional scar that still hard to vanish.
Are you still hurting every time you see that person, even though you’ve forgiven them? It’s really hard to forget someone because of something they did most especially if that is the cause of your grip for a long time. Example of this is relationship break-ups because you caught him/her cheating on you, another thing is, you’ve trusted your friend a secret and all of a sudden your secret spread out in an open, another one is you parents maltreated you or you can’t get along with your siblings because they don’t respect you.
But if you think of it, are your hurts bothering them at all, maybe not because you’re the one who’s hurting and not them. So come to think of it, why not just forgive them and forget what they did wrong about you, I know you will say it’s easier said than done most especially if you’re not the one who’s suffering. Maybe you are right that it’s hard to forgive and forget because it’s human nature.
Well I’ll give you some insights that it’s better to forgive and forget than hold grudge to other person.
• YOU CAN SMILE OFTEN:
You can have this nice light feeling inside of you that can transcend people to bliss because if you smile often and they will see you happy in spite of all the hurt they’ve cause then they will realize that you are a good person and you don’t deserve the hurt that they impart to you.
• YOU CAN SLEEP WELL:
You can sleep well at night with no mind disturbance; you can’t have sleepless nights because your heart is pounding furiously of the hurt your feeling. And you don’t consider revenge to that person because it does no good to you.
• YOU CAN THINK CLEARLY:
Your mind is cleared by vengeance and you can go with everyday life with positive insights rather than negative intuition.
• YOU CAN ENJOY LIFE MORE:
You live in this world once, don’t allow hurt ruin you. If they cause you pain then forgive and forget and move on don’t settle for them. It’s better to stay with people who really cares for you than waste your time figuring someone to like you.
It’s all about the state of mind, you can choose to live your life in a happy way or comfort yourself in a miserable way. Life is all about choices, so take your pick.
