One day while I was surfing the net, I stumbled across the blog of Personal Development guru Mr. Pavlina, sharing his 30 days trial to success and how he made it through in such kind of experiment.
So I decided to try it out and see for myself what are the benefits I can get and if I can commit to the task at hand.
The trial can be done thru 30 day trial of an exercise program or a 30 day trial of anything you want to improve in your life; it can serve all the purpose.
But before we began any experiment we have this thinking that this change is something permanent and if we can really coped up with the phase and if we can stick to it for the rest of the course. I have this kind of thinking also before I begun the experiment, and the more I think about it the more I got stack up.
One day I thought to myself why not give it a try, there is nothing to lose if I give it a shot, except maybe for 20 minutes of your time each day for 30 days. But if your health can benefit to such kind of experiment, it’s worth the try right.
So I got ahead, I did the 30 day trial exercise. I have a bouncing rope, I did shadow boxing, sit-ups and jogging. The first few days are not as easy as walking in the park because it takes a considerable will and commitment day by day to getting used to it. But anyway because of my self-discipline I conquer all odds.
What actually going to happen if you complete the 30 day trial? First, you can establish it as a habit because if you miss one day of exercise you will be feeling empty, it’s like someone robbed you of something. It is easier also to maintain than to begin. Secondly, the old habit of yours will be gone. Thirdly, you can have that inner confidence because you know you accomplish something. And fourthly, you will see the results, the fruit of your labor.
If you want to continue the process after the 30 day trial expired, you can always do so, so that it will become your exercise habit. Another benefit of this approach is to test new habits to know whether you want to continue certain things and processes or not.
So far, I love the result of what the experiment gave me and I felt stronger and healthier than ever before.
